Andy Mok is a fourth year nursing student at Ryerson University. He holds a previous Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in Psychology. During his studies at McGill, Andy discovered a passion in working with marginalized populations at a community health level. Specifically, his inspiration is to make a positive impact in the Canadian healthcare system by advocating and advancing the recognition of mental health, LGBTQ+ health, and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Andy’s future goal is to work as a community/public health nurse where he can become an advocate for equitable healthcare services and resources to individuals from all walks of life.
